Gold Boarded Bells

I made these cards on some cards and envelopes gifted to me, now old Stampin' Up! products however you could use and cardstock of your choice and place a cold piece on the front and Whisper White Cardstock over it approx 1cm smaller to create the same look or any colour you like, even leave it Gold.
For this card I have again used the Cherish The Season Bundle by Stampin' Up! I used Gold Stampin' Emboss (embossing powder), to heat emboss the stamped images of the 2 bells onto some Whisper White Cardstock, above this I stamped some fronds in Shaded Spruce, also the sentiment. I then die cut the gold bell using the largest bell in the coordinating die set inlaying the holly pieces and berries from scrap pieces of cardstock which I cut out using the same die, placing simple sticky tape behind the bell too hold them in place. I cut out some Real Red cardstock strips to place between the bells "attaching" them together. and finished this off with a bow from the Real Red Sheer Ribbon. I die cut out the berries from the DSP however these can be simply stamped and coloured using the bundle, then attached this in behind the bow before attaching the bow with some Glue Dots. I stamped soome Holly onto Shaded Spruce Cardstock and Berries onto Real Red Cardstock to attach to the card to appear as part of the arrangement for the die cut bell attachment to the "ribbon". On the inside of the card I have layered a piece of Gold Foil Sheet behind the Whisper White piece to give a matching appearance of the front of the card. Then gold heat embossed a medium sized bell on the bottom left corner and the smallest bell in the top right corner with a sentiment in the middle from the same stamp set. Leaving plenty of room for a message to be written inside the card.

Silver Bells

This card is a fun fold card and has 3 "faces". I have used the Cherish The Season Bundle from the Wonder Of The Season Suite by Stampin' Up! to make it. Also 'Tis The Season DSP, Whisper White Cardstock,Garden Green Cardstock, Real Red Cardstock, Silver Foil Sheets, Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Silver Stampin' Emboss embossing powder, and the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
The white piece for the front measures the same as the inside piece - 11cm x 10cm. On this piece I have heat embossed in silver the large double bells on the bottom left corner, the medium single bell in the top left corner, and the greetings Merry Christmas between the bells and in the bottom right corner. To do these I first planned out what I wanted to use and where I wanted the elements to go. Using the largest bell die from the bundle I cut out the bell. using offcuts from the card I used the same die to cut out the holly leaves and berries in green and red then inlaid then into the bell. I placed simple sticky tape on the back of the bell to hold them in place. Next I cut a piece of the sheer ribbon and folded it in half then threaded it through the large bell. to help hold the ribbon together I placed some double sided tape between the layers, then attached it to the card. Next I die cut out the branches using some more offcuts of green cardstock and placed them around the tops of the bells to disguise the tops and ribbon joins also adding decoration. Finally I tied some bows from the sheer red ribbon and added these to the cards "tying" everything together.

The red card base is half a piece of A4 paper measuring 21cm x 14.8cm and folded at 7cm -1/3 along the 21cm edge. The green piece of card measures 13.3cm x 14 .3cm and is embossed using the Subtle folder. the next layer of red cardstock is also embossed using the subtle folder 1 half at a time. it measures 21cm x 11.6cm. The white piece of card measures 11cm x 10cm. This piece is silver heat embossed with 1 small bell from the stamp set in the bottom left corner and top right corner. a sentiment form the set is also stamped in the middle and heat embossed.

The bells piece of DSP measures 14.3cm x 6.6cm and attached to the 7cm part of the card base when it folds forwards. The front of the card is the front flap of the 2nd piece of red card(attached to the inside).

Sweetest Time Candy

For this card I have used Stampin' Up!'s Sweetest Time Bundle. The card base is Whisper White Cardstock, the card front is Poppy Parade Cardstock. Firstly I die cut the Candy Cane border in the Poppy Parade (along the edge of the cardstock) and snipped it off where neccessary.  To decorate the front a bit more I attached some Whisper white Cardstock to some Foam Adhesive Sheets then Die cut out some candy canes and lollies using the Sweetest Borders Dies. Around the edges of these cuts I drew some Real Red and Granny Apple Green lines along each edge cut using the brush tip end of the Stampin Blends, markers could also be used for this. These marks/lines are very thin to make them look like the fine lines you would find on actual candy canes and lollies. I also stamped some holly berries using the Poppy Parade stamp pad onto Poppy Parade Cardstock from the Sweetest Time Stamp Set and Die Cut Some holly leaves using the dies adding these as decorations to the front of the card. Lastly I chose my sentiment from the stamp set and stamped it onto a spare strip of Whisper white Card stock. First stamping onto Versamark then onto Poppy Parade and onto the cardstock. Next I poured some Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder onto the Sentiment piece (which is placed onto a plain piece of paper to catch excess for ease of pouring it back into its container). I heated (using the Heat Tool)the sentiment to melt the clear powder giving the sentiment shine and dimension. I simply hand-cut the edges round and attached it to the card using Dimensionals. You could use whatever you like or stamp it straight onto the card front as you choose! On the inside I have stamped some Candy canes and a lolly from the stamp set into opposing corners, also adding a sentiment in the middle leaving plenty of room to write a greeting.

Magic & Wonder Holly - Portrait

For this card I have used Stampin' Up!'s Sweetest Time Bundle, the Real Red Sheer Ribbon, Snowflake Splendour Ribbon and the Wonderful Gems. The card base is Shaded Spruce Cardstock. Firstly I die cut the holly border in Garden Green Cardstock (along the edge of the cardstock) and snipped it off where neccessary under this I have placed a strip of Shaded Spruce Cardstock then cut out pieces to lay behind the holly leaves to look like the veins of the upper leaves then snipped these to the shapes of the leaves and using the Tombow (Multipurpose Glue). I attached this holly piece onto the card base using the tombow. Next I cut 2 pieces each about 5 to 6cm  long of the red sheer ribbon and snowflake ribbon, folded them in half and stuck them together using Stampin' Seal then used more Stampin Seal to stick these to the card front tucking them in behind the Holly. I filled the holes for the Berries with the wonderful gems and some other red gems I have, I would recommend Stampin' up's Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (I don't have these yet). Lastly I chose my sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set stamping it onto a piece of Whisper white Card Stock using a Real Red stamp pad and cut it out using a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, you could use whatever you like or stamp it straight onto the card front as you choose! On the inside I have stamped some holly from the stamp set into opposing corners on an insert of Whisper White cardstock, also adding a sentiment in the middle leaving plenty of room to write a greeting.

Gold Candles With Holly Love & Light

For this card I have used Stampin' Up!'s Sweetest Time Bundle, the Real Red Sheer Ribbon and the Wonderful Gems. The card base is Real Red Cardstock, the card front is Whisper White Cardstock. I placed this onto the Whisper white cardstock and marked where it sits. After removing it I lined up where the candles should sit then stamped the candles from the Sweetest Time stamp set onto the cardstock with the Versamark Stamp pad (if you have an Embossing buddy powder pouch use this on the cardstock before stamping the versamark to stop the embossing powder sticking to any oily residue or other marks on the cardstock). On top of this I poured Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder to stick to the stamped image and poured the rest back into its container. I then heated the image to melt the powder and provide the shiny gold image. After this I attached this cardstock onto the card base then using the tombow I attached the holly to the edge of the card partially over the candles. Next I cut 4 pieces about 5 to 6cm  long of the red sheer ribbon folded them in half and stuck them together using Stampin' Seal then more Stampin' Seal to stick them to the card front tucking them in behind the Holly. I filled the holes for the Berries with the wonderful gems and some other red gems I have, I would recommend Stampin' up's Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels (I don't have these yet). Lastly I chose my sentiment from the stamp set and cut it out using a die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, you could use whatever you like or stamp it straight onto the card front as you choose! On the inside I have stamped some holly from the stamp set into opposing corners on a Whisper White insert, also adding a sentiment in the middle leaving plenty of room to write a greeting.

Poinsettia Collage

These Cards have been made using Stampin' Up!'s Poinsettia Place Suite of products which can be found in the current promotion catalogues : August - December Mini Catalogue. The link to this catalogue is on the top of this Blog - The catalogue in the top right hand corner underneath the main Header and Tabs. Just click on the picture and it will take you to the PDF.๐Ÿ˜€
I made these cards on some cards and envelopes gifted to me, now old Stampin' Up! products however you could use and cardstock of your choice and place a cold piece on the front and Whisper White Cardstock over it approx 1cm smaller to create the same look or any colour you like, even leave it Gold.
First I have chosen a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) form the suite, then a piece of the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper, for these I have cut 3 different shapes - a rectangle the same size as the DSP, a Stitched Nested Die shape and the large rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
For the Poinsettia's I have used Real Red Cardstock and stamped the Petal shapes from the Poinsettia Petals Stamp Set onto this using the Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad then used the Poinsettia Dies to cut these out I have used a different amount of petals for the different cards, experimenting which looks I preferred. For the leaves I used the Largest Flower die to cut these out of Shaded Spruce Cardstock also placing the Vein marking Die into the centre at the same time as this is the easiest way to line them up, rather than stamping onto the leaves, however you could choose your own way to make these of course.
For the Berries I have used Merry Merlot cardstock to die cut these out using the larger bunch die, also for one card I have stamped the Berries and coloured them in using the Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Blends then die cut them out using the coordinating die. I have also since discovered that the die will also line up with one on the branches only on the DSP. The centres for these flowers are the Beaded Pearls from the suite. I have made the sentiment from the greetings in the stamp set and heat embossed it using Versa Mark and the White Stampin' Emboss powder. I attached the DSP to the card using the Multipurpose Glue, the Specialty Paper using Stampin' Seal, the berries using the glue and the poinsettia and the Sentiments using Dimensionals.

Pampered Pets - Cat Stand Card

I saw another Version of this card on Pinterest and loved it so thought I'd re-create in my way. I love how it looks like this dog is patting or perhaps saluting something and the look on this cat's face is priceless so stunned so why not put these 2 together๐Ÿ˜†.
For the Card base I have used Purple Posy Card stock, this is one of my favourite colours and the colour I have tried to base my Blog design on as a pale colour.
I have simply hand cut the dog out of the Playful Pets Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!'s Pampered Pets Suite of Products. the little ball is also from the same piece of paper so rather than letting it go to waste I thought why not snip it out and add it to the scene.
The Cat Stand was really very easy to create it starts with 2 different sized squares of Smoky Slate Cardstock, on the bottom one I used the 2 Basic Black Stampin Blends to draw the doorway. The darker for the out line and approx 1/3 of the way across the width and up across to the opposite side and coloured in the outer piece, using the Lighter blend I filled in the rest. This effect gives the appearance of depth to the inside of the cat stand. I placed a thin piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock behind this and attached them to the card. I honestly intended to wrap Linen thread around this pillar piece however forgot, lol๐Ÿ˜†. So instead I drew the lines on using my Dark Soft Suede Stampin' Blend -brush tip, I don't think it looks too bad actually. For the top piece of the cat Stand I trimmed the square shape down to a size that would fit the cat also looking in proportion to the rest of the cat stand, after this I simply trimmed the ends on an angle, both the same way to give it a look of dimension then attached it to the top of the pillar. I then used my Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend - brush tip end - to dot all over the rest of the cat stand to give it the look of fur. Once satisfied I then attached the cat, dog and ball to the card using dimensionals. For the sentiment I used a stamp from the Pampered Pets Stamp set in Smoky Slate on a piece of Blushing Bride Card Stock, I die cut it out using a die from the Hippo And Friends Dies, I cut out a paw on one side of the sentiment using a paw print die from the Pets Dies. I found I could not quite line it up with the other side on the angle I wanted for the opposite side so instead I stamped a paw print in Momento - Tuxedo Black - on the left hand side from the Happy Tails Stamp set. Perhaps the paw could be die cut out before the "frame" for the sentiment, as there are 3 paws on the die I'm not sure.  I then used a sponge dauber to highlight the edges gently using the Smoky Slate Stamp Pad. Using a Real Red stamp pad I stamped the hearts from the stamp set onto the card making sure I had plenty of room for the sentiment laying it on the card before attaching it. Lastly I attached the sentiment again using Dimensionals.

For the inside of this card I have placed a layer of Blushing Bride behind the layer of Whisper White card stock. I have used The Smoky Slate stamp pad to stamp the sentiment which is from the Happy Tails Stamp Set. Also the Cat from the Pampered Pets Stamp Set and Coloured the inside of the ears using the Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend, the fur is coloured using the Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend, a bit streaky to appear like fur.

Pampered Pets - Cat Tree Card

This card is a C5 sized card to make all of the elements look in proportion to each other.
For this Card I have used the  Pampered Pets Suite of products from Stampin' Up!
I have used a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock for the base of the card, Scored at 14cm to make the uneven card, the short piece the front and the longer the back of the card. Next I have hand drawn a basic tree shape on a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock with a grey lead pencil and once I was happy with my shape I cut out the tree then erased all of the lines left from the sketch. After this I used some of Stampin' Up!'s Linen Thread to wind around the branches etc of the tree to make it look more like  a cat tree as they have rope for cats to scratch at. once I was happy with these I then drew the shapes I wanted to use for the perches etc and cut these out too.. Then I added the Carpet/matting pieces to each perch copying the shapes from the original sketches. To get the complete shapes I used a craft knife to refine the shapes once I got close.  I used Smoky Slate card stock for these and cut them out then added the texture look dotting them with the Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blend. Once I was happy with all of these and had them attached (some shapes now looked better than the original sketches) I highlighted the ends with the Dark Soft Suede then also drew on the tree's texture lines with the same marker. Adding some Dark Just Jade Stampin' Blend at the bottom of the trunk to give it a grass like appearance. Once I was satisfied with all of the elements I attached the "Cat Tree" to the card base using Dimensionals to attach it, in some places 2 stacked on top of each other to give the appearance of some branches being in front of others. I placed the Cats onto the branches as I chose, I mostly fussy cut these however was able to use the die for one. Feeling the bottom looked a bit empty I added the black cat and the mouse which had also been hand cut (fussy cut). Happy with these as I had decided to use a piece of of Designer Series Paper (DSP) along the edge of the longer part of the inside of the card i cut a 8mm piece for the front left hand side of the card then tied with a bow, a piece of the coordinating twine to wrap around the middle of the card as an added accent. The sentiment for the card is Black Stampin' Emboss Powder heat embossed onto a piece of Real Red Card Stock which is also highlighted in this piece of DSP. I used a Die from the Hippo And Friends Dies to cut the sentiment out.

On the inside of the card I have placed a piece of Basic Black cardstock measuring 12.8cm x 20.8cm beside the 1 inch piece of DSP. on top of this I have attached a piece of whisper White cardstock measuring 12.5 x 20.5cm, these have been centered to fit beside the DSP. on the White piece I have stamped the cat from the stamp set in Basic Black in the bottom right corner and the sentiment in Real Red in the middle.

Artistically Inked

These cards are made using Stampin' Up!'s Artistically Inked Stamp Set and Artistic Dies When making the above cards I first chose...
