Thank You Cards

Some may wonder why I have not posted for a little while, I have been busy making Thank You Cards for local services. I feel those that are still providing for us in the many ways need to be shown they are being appreciated for what they are doing and potentially placing themselves at risk of COVID 19.
Below are the cards I have taken to the Peterborough General Store, Peterborough Licenced Grocer, Timboon & District Hospital and Timboon IGA.

I made these cards using the Lily Pads Bundle from the sale-a-bration catalogues which are now retired.

I made these cards using the Floral Essence Suite. These are still available and will be next year also however the beautiful cardstock is only available while stocks last until June as they will not be available next year. So if you would like to purchase some Shop with me at:

I made these cards using the Forever Lovely Suite. Unfortunately these stamps and dies are also being discontinued next year, which I am a little disappointed in as they do make lovely cards, if you would like to purchase a set of these before they are sold out, the Lovely Flowers coordinating dies are now at 60% off, please shop with me, or simply have a look at:

I hope you enjoy these cards as much as I did making and delivering them!
I still have more to deliver however I'm still deciding on where to take/send them.

I hope you have a great day!!😊

Beautiful Moments

I stamped the family on this card using the new Beautiful Moments stamp set from the Mini Catalogue and the A Good Man stamp set from the Annual catalogue.
I used the Waterfront stamps to make the background using full stamp pad colours and the stamping of technique for all of the colours used to create the sand, sea and the sky. (masking over the family first, this stamp set is in the Annual Catalogue.)

For this card I used the same method as above then added extra colours to the sky using the Stampin' Up! blender pens.

When I made this card i first stamped the image onto a piece of Whisper white cardstock and coloured it using the Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blends and attached it to the Purple Posy Cardbase.
The next thing I did was using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies I cut out the windows in the Purple Posy Vellum and a seperate piece of Purple Posy cardstock, in graduating sizes big enough to show the image but small enough to allow for further embellishment.
After die cutting the stitched nested label die from the Purple Posy card I die cut it again using the Stitched Lace Dies making the beautiful lace effect.
Finally I made the sentiment label stamping the sentiment using the Highland Heather Stamp pad on whisper white and backed it with a thin border of Purple Posy also.
Finally I have lined the inside of the card with Whisper White cardstock and decorated diagonally opposing corners with posies of the flowers from the Stampset and coloured them to coordinate with the front of the card.

This card is made using the same method as above however I have used Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and Petal Pink Vellum.

Peaceful Poppies Suite

I Really like this shaker card I've made as it is the first one that I've designed and feel that it has turned out looking great.
I used the colour Poppy Parade throughout this card design as it is the dominant colour in the DSP.
I stamped the inside poppy first on a piece of Whisper white cardstock then the Poppy Parade over it. I die cut out the circle in the DSP for the front next and then placed double sided foam tape in a circle all around the flower, attached a clean piece of acetate to the back of the DSP. I placed the Peaceful Poppies Sequins inside the foam tape peeled off the top layer of protective paper from the foam tape and attached the front of the card to the foam tape making a window.
I die cut the white frame pice and cut out the middle and placed it on the front around the window to accentuate it. The sentiment label is stamped in Tuxedo Black Momento Stamp pad and die cut out using the Painted Labels Dies. The inside of the card is decorated with poppies from the stamp set and coloured using the coordinating colours.
I made this Poppy card by folding the a5 piece of card in half and the front page in half again in the opposite direction. I have used the coordinating Peaceful Poppies DSP to decorate it. The Cardbase is made from Rich Razzleberry Cardstock which is a colour found in the design.

I made the Poppies and leaves using the Poppy Moment Dies, layering coordinating colours together that feature in the DSP. The colours are Basic Black for the centres, Blackberry Bliss for the outlines and Rich Razzleberry for the main petals.

Tropical Oasis Suite

I made this fun fold card using a regular card size, I just scored and folded the front page in half again. I then chose coordinating papers to decorate it with and used the left-over scrap to decorate the lined message page.
I then stamped and coloured the palm trees, and flowers.

I made this card in the same way as the one above, I just used a different piece of Designer Series Paper and coloured the flowers using different colours.
I chose to make this card using Pretty Peacock as the cardbase then embossed a piece of Early Espresso using the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder placed a piece of Linen Thread around it and tied it in place with a bow. I cut another design of the DSP from the suite and attached it to the card using dimensionals. Choosing colours from this piece I have then decorated it highlighting these colours in the flower leaves and even the Sentiment. I stamped and coloured the same flower inside on the lining piece.

I really hope you have enjoyed this Blog!

For this card I have used the In The Tropics dies and used Daffodil Delight cardstock for the pineapple die then cut out a piece old Pineapple Punch cardstock around the die cut to place under it to add the dimension and a more realistic look, on the die impressions I used Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend pen to highlight these for the realistic look. Next I stamped and die cut the flowers and leaves  of the Frangipanis using Highland Heather, Flirty Flamingo and Daffodil Delight, I then coloured these in using the light version of the corresponding Stampin' Blends and highlighted them using the Darker versions. I used some sequins from the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment in the centre of the frangipanis. The leaves stamped in Granny Apple Green then are coloured using the light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend. The little flowers are die cut using Flirty Flamingo and attached to some Melon Mambo to highlight the centres and fussy cut them out, then the edges of the petals are also highlighted with Melon Mambo. I used a piece of the DSP for the background and used the Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder to add the texture. I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set in Granny Apple Green and used one of the Stitched Nested Dies to cut it out. The card base for this card is GRanny Apple Green, I have placed an insert of Whisper White inside with a small pineapple and a frangipani stamped in opposite corners.

This card is also made using the Tropical Oasis Suite of Products from Stampin' Up! The card base is Garden Green and the front is a piece of the DSP again embossed with the Coastal Weave 3D embossing Folder. I stamped the Hibiscus on Whisper White Card stock using Merry Merlot then Coloured it using the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend and the Frangipanis are stamped using Flirty Flamingo and coloured using the light Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend and highlighted using the Dark Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blend. I have again used the Woven Threads Sequin Assortment in the middle for a bit of bling. I stamped the leaves using Garden Green and have coloured these using my Dark Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend. For the leaves in the background they are Die cut using the In the Tropics Dies from the suite using Granny Apple Green and Garden Green cardstock.. The Sentiment is stamped from the Timeless Tropical Cling Stamp set from the suite using Flirty Flamingo stamp pad on a strip of Whisper White paper and Flirty Flaming the banner end is cut out by hand.

This card is basically the same as the card above however the colours of the flowers are different,
The Card base is Highland Heather Card Stock and the Hibiscus is again stamped with Merry Merlot however coloured using the Light Highland Heather Stampin' Blend. One of the Frangipanis are stamped using Highland Heather then coloured with the Light Highland Heather Stampin' Blend and highlighted using the Dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blend. The other Frangipani is highlighted using both the Dark Highland Heather Stampin' Blend and Gorgeous Grape Stamp pad and a Blender pen to give it more gradients in the colours. Again then sentiment is stamped from the Timeless Tropical Stamp set this time in gorgeous Grape, and hand cut to form the banners on this one however I have used dimensionals to lift the front banner off the surface of the one below it. On the Whisper White inserts for these cards I have stamped Frangipanis down the right side of the insert (4 Frangipanis) and coloured the same as those on the front of the cards.

This card is made exactly the same as the cards above however the colours are Granny Apple Green card base, the hibiscus is coloured with the Light Pumpkin Pie stampin Blend. The Frangipanis are stamped using Daffodil Delight and left White. The leaves are stamped Granny Apple gReen again and coloured using Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend. The Sentiment is another from the same stamp set stamped using Pumpkin Pie on whisper white and die cut out using the Stitched Nested Dies of 2 sizes, the back one is using Daffodil delight. Again the front label is raised off of the back die cut using Dimensionals.

I hope you've enjoyed this edition of my blog, have a great day!!!😊
