Ornate Garden Suite1

To make this card I have stamped the bouquet from the Ornate Style stamp set then hand coloured the bouquet using Stampin' Blends and backed the frame, cut using the Ornate Frames Dies, with a piece of Petal Pink vellum. The card is made from Terracotta Tile and the Old Olive coloured front is a piece of Designer Series Paper(DSP) from the Suite. I have used the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set for the sentiment heat embossed it using Gold Stampin' Emboss on Early Espresso cardstock. Then decorated the inside of the card to Compliment the front as part of it can be seen.

For this card I have used a Mint Macaron Card base with DSP card front. On the Terracotta Tile frame Cut using the Ornate Frames Dies and embossed layer using the Ornate FLoral 3d Embossing Folder, I have placed a Mint Macaron sentiment embossed in gold and spritzed using the Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint mixed with Isopropyl Alcohol -unfortunately this cannot be seen in the photo however accounts for the slightly rough looking finish. I have used the gold gilded gems as embellishments on the front of this card, also from the suite.

For the card base of this card I have used Terracotta Tile and placed a piece of Designer Series Paper on top of it to make the card front. For the sentiment I have stamped and heat embossed it in gold on Whisper White cardstock cut using the Ornated Frames dies. I then attached these to a piece of Mint Macaron that has also been die cut using the same dies. Attached to a piece of Blushing Bride also die cut using the Ornate frames dies a size bigger. The colours I have chosen to use highlight the colours in the DSP.

I made this card using Mint Macaron as the base and chose a complimentary piece of Designer Series Paper. I then chose Terracotta Tile Cardstock to compliment the DSP and used the Ornate Borders dies along the edge of this piece before embossing it using the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder. after attaching this to the card I used a piece of the coordinating ribbon in the Old Olive colour around the card. I have stamped the sentiment in Old Olive onto a piece of Blushing Bride and the used the Ornate Frames to die cut it. Finally embellishing the card using the Gold Gilded Gems to finish it off.

This card is the same as the card above in design concept just turned on the side. I made this card using the Terracotta Tile colour for the card base and ribbon. the Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder and Ornate Borders Dies on the Old Olive cardstock, a piece of DSP of which these colours coordinate with, the Ornate Frames Dies and another piece of Blushing Bride card for this sentiment too, stamped using Flirty Flamingo coloured ink this time with the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set and again finished off with the Gold Gilded Gems.

All of these cards have been made using the Ornate Garden Suite showcasing many of the products in the Suite however there are still more stamps and dies yet to demonstrate as there is so much available in this suite.
This Suite is presently available in the January to June catalogue and is a sneak peak from the New Annual Catalogue being released on 3rd June 2020 so will therefore be available for the following year at least.
The suite may seem expensive to many however it is the cheapest way to purchase all of the elements available, however as you may not want all of the products they can be purchased individually even if it just works better for your budget, I would recommend that the 2 stamps and die sets be purchased in bundles tho as they are 10% cheaper to purchase in this way than individually if you want these items.

I really hope you enjoyed this Blog edition and please share among your friends, if they are interested we can organise an Online party any time that may be convenient.

Poppies with Ornate Frames

For this card I have combined the Ornate garden Suite and the Peaceful Poppies suite. Using A Granny Apple Green card base, the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper for the main card front, Painted Poppies Stamps and Painted Labels dies to make the poppy on the front of the card and the stamp for inside. The Ornate Thanks Stamp set and Ornate frames dies  have been used to make the sentiment. I have stamped and used an offcut of the DSP on the inside of the card to decorate it complimenting the front of the card.

This card is quite a simple card as I have used the Basic Designer Series Paper from the Peaceful Poppies Suite for the card as I feel it is lovely as it is. I have simply added a banner of Blackberry Bliss From the Ornate Frames dies and Granny Apple Green to highlight colours in the DSP. I have finished the card off using the coordinating sequins from the Peaceful Poppies suite and added an extra Poppy to the centre front of this card. I have also decorated the inside of the card to compliment the front.

For this card I have used Pool Party coloured card for the card base, Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper for the card front and The Poppy Moments Dies to make the many elements of flower and leaves to create Poppy on the front of the card. I used an Ornate Frames Die with the Pool Party Vellum to place the Poppy on giving it a background, while separating it from the DSP also adding dimension. The banner on the front of the card is made from Rich Razzleberry cardstock and the sentiment is heat embossed using White Stampin' Emboss from the Tropical Oasis Stamp set. I have used a scrap piece of DSP and the Painted Poppies stamp set to decorate the inside of the card.

I hope you have enjoyed this edition of my blog with more to come this week catching up on what I have been busy creating having lots of need for de-stress moments after homeschooling most days.
Both of the stamp and die sets used in these cards are carrying over to the New Annual Catalogue being released on 3rd June 2020 so they will be available for the following year at least.

Tropical Oasis - Coastal Weave Embossing Folder & Geared Up Garage Birthday

For this card I have used a piece of Designer Series Paper, the Timeless Tropical Stamp set for the palm tree and sentiment, also the In The Tropics dies for the "aloha" and to cut out the palm trees. The colours I have chosen are Garden Green for the Card Base and Terracotta Tile for the Embossed Card front.
For this card I have used the Designer series paper cutting out some of the flowers from a piece the decorated around the sentiment label with them. The Red flowers are cut from the In The Tropics dies and the stamped sentiment is from the Timeless Tropical stamp set. I have highlighted the small flowers with Wink of Stella and the large red hibiscus flowers with red glitter unfortunately these cannot be seen in the photo.

For the 2 cards above I have used the Tropical Oasis Suite. Highlighting the detail of the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder I have decided to minimise the other components on these cards however still demonstrated different products within the Suite.
Both of these cards have also been decorated on the inside to compliment the front of the cards.
There are only 2 weeks left to purchase the Coastal Weave Embossing Folder as when the new Annual Catalogue is released on 3rd June it will no longer be available.

I made this card for a personal friend who's celebration had to be cancelled due to the COVID 19 pandemic however I felt that this was no reason not to help him celebrate it and chose to make this special card for him. I chose this theme as he likes to build, modify or repair cars and has one that he has slowly been working on in his spare time since we met. I chose the colours as I consulted his wife to find that Green is his favourite colour and many metal toolboxes are the colour red, also to make it look realistic and to add a different splash of colour.
The stamps and dies for the car and toolbox are from the Geared Up Garage stamp set and die cut using the coordinating Garage Gears dies.
The DSP is the paper that was available when the suite was originally released to match the set. The sentiment is not a Stampin' Up! product.

I really hope you enjoyed this Blog Edition.
Please share this blog among your friends, the more the merrier.
