Dragonfly Garden

This Card is made using the Dragon Fly Garden Stamp Set and Punch Bundle.
I chose to use Granny Apple Green Cardstock for the card base and Basic White for the card front. I stamped the image of the flowers onto the card front first then using Blending Brushes Coloured the Sky using the Balmy Blue Stamp Pad also the grass using the Granny Apple Green Stamp Pad.I used the Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to draw in some grass around the bottom of the flowers then stamped some more onto the coloured area for the grass. For the grass texture I used a stamp from the Counting Sheep Stamp Set.I coloured the flowers using Stampin' Write Markers and some Stampin'Blends. then I attached the cardfront to the card base using Multi purpose Glue. The Dragonflies were Stamped in Momento -Tuxedo Black on Basic White cardstock and coloured in using Highland Heather and Seaside Spray Stampin' Blends then punched out using the coordinating Punch. I attached the large dragonfly to the cardfront using Stampin' Dimensionals and the small one using the glue. The sentiment is stamped in Granny Apple Green on the same coloured cardstock. it is one from the stampset saying: "May good things grow all year long".
I have line the inside with a piece of Basic White Cardstock with half of the bunch of flowers stamped in the bottom left corner and coloured the same as those on the front and some small butterflies also from the stampset in the to right corner coloured individually in the using the same colours as for the dragonflies.

Turtle Friends

This card is made using the Turtle Friends Bundle which includes the Turtle Friends Stamp Set and Turtle Punch.
I chose to use Basic White Cardstock for the Card base and Soft Sea Foam Cardstock for the Cardfront. Using the Soft Sea Foam Stamp pad I stamped the grass tufts on the card front then attached the Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon around the top of the cardfront using Tear & Tape Adhesive on the ends onto the back of the card front. I then attached the cardfront to the cardbase using Multi Purpose Liquid Glue.
Next I chose to stamp the 2 Turtles onto Granny Apple Green Cardstock using the Granny Apple Green Stamp Pad. I used Garden Green to Stamp the Turtle shell patterns. Using the Turtle Punch I punched out the larger Turtle and hand cut out the small Turtle. Then attached these where I chose using Stampin' Dimensionals.
After this I stamped the love hearts in Real Red straight onto the card front also the bird in Pacific Point, the bird is from the Zoo Globe Stamp Set. As I wanted to use a flying bird rather than the walking one which comes with this Stamp Set.
For the Sentiment I used a small piece of Basic White Cardstock and using the Soft Sea Foam Stamp Pad I stamped the sentiment from the set. I punched this out using the 1 3/8" Scalloped Circle Punch. Finally I have decorated the front with some Pearl Basic Jewels. On the inside of the card I have stamped the front of the Larger Turtle on the bottom left corner and the hearts in the top right corner.

Way To Goat

This card is made on Very Vanilla Cardstock to be a little different, it is actually quite an easy card to make.
Firstly I stamped the 3 goats on Basic White Cardstock using Smoky Slate Stamp Pad. I then coloured the goats using Light Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends for the tails, ears and eyelids and fur highlights, Dark Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends for the hooves and eye colour, Light Basic Black for the pupils, Ivory Stampin' Blends for the horns, Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends for the hair do's and Light Daffodil Delight for the daisy. Once finished I hand cut the goats out which was the most time consuming part of making this card. after finishing this I chose to use Soft Sea Foam Cardstock for the background. I placed the goats onto the Cardfront deciding where I wanted them then placed the shadow stamps where the sheep would be standing using Garden Green Stamp pad and the stamping off technique. Using the Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blend I drew some grass tufts around on the card front. I then attached the Card front to the card base using Multi purpose Liquid Glue. Placing Stampin' Dimensionals on the back of the goats I then attached the goats  on to the card over the shadows.
The sentiment is stamped on to a piece of Basic White card stock in Soft Sea Foam the banner measuring 2cm x 8cm and trimmed using the Banners Pick A Punch, and attached using the Stampin' Dimensionals. Finally I decorated the card with sequins and attached these using Mini Glue Dots, approx 1/2 per sequins from the Whale Of A Time Sequins.
On the inside I have lined the card with a piece of Basic White Cardstock then, stamped the Sentiment "Happy Birthday you old GOAT." and stamped the dancing goat in the bottom left Corner.

Forever Fern

This card was made using the Forever Fern Stamp Set and the coordinating Forever Flourishing Dies.
I have used Shaded Spruce Cardstock for the card base, which has 2 seperate pieces of cardstock one being half a piece of A4 paper measuring 21cm x 14.8cm and folded at 7cm -1/3 along the 21cm edge. The next piece of Shaded Spruce Cardstock measures 21cm x 11.6cm scored and folded in half
The bottom leaf and fern piece of DSP measures 13.3cm x 14.3cm
Inside the card is a piece of Basic White Cardstock to decorate and/or write a greeting on which measures 10cm x 11cm.
The next layer which is the next piece of  DSP (leaf & fern) measures 14.3cm x 6.6cm

The front of the card is the front flap of the 2nd piece of Shaded Spruce(attached to the inside). I have used a different piece of the coordinating DSP as the base measuring 10cm x 11cm then on this I have placed leaves stamped on Basic White Cardstock from the Forever Fern Stamp set and die cut using the Forever Flourishing Dies and a fern from the die set that has no coordinating stamp.
The sentiment piece of cardstock is Basic White and die cut using one of the Painted Labels Dies. I have also placed a piece of the coordinating Gold Simply Elegant Trim around the sentiment on the front as well as behind the label, just loosely spread around among and in front the leaves. The sentiment used is from Forever Fern stamp set.

Dressed To Impress

The card base for this card is one of this years new In Colours - Polished Pink.
On top of this I have used the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper, attaching this to the card base using Multi purpose Liquid Glue. (This paper was in the 2nd August - 31st December Sale-a-bration Catalogue. I still have almost 2 full packs so if you would like some just contact me by using the prompt down the side of the home page of this Blog)
Next I used the All Dressed Up Dies to cut out the handbag shape, handle & pocket using Blushing Bride Cardstock, I trimmed the side part off of the handbag to give it the look of just the front of a bag. I also 2 buttons using the Polished Pink Cardstock. I then stamped the floral decoration and sentiment on the pocket before attaching the pocket to the front of the handbag using some glue along the bottom and some Stampin' Dimensionals at the top to give it a slight opened look.
I also used the glue to attach the buttons and handle, I folded the handle down to fit the card and found this also gives it a realistic look. I attached the handbag where I chose onto the card using the dimensionals too.
I stamped the lipstick using Momento then heat embossed the Gold Stampin' Emboss in the middle of the lipstick image then coloured the rest of the lipstick using the Real Red Stampin' Write Marker and added a little Wink of Stella to the lipstick part of the image. I stamped the perfume bottle using Smoky Slate and also coloured it using Stampin' write Markers; Polished Pink & Pale Papaya. The sentiment on the card is from the Stamp Set stamped in Smoky Slate on a piece of Polished Pink Cardstock using the Tasteful Labels Dies to cut it out. I attached the Perfume bottle and lipstick to the card front using dimensionals and simply glued the sentiment on. I finished off the front with some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

New Sunflower Colours

I have created some new cards with new colours using the Celebrate Sunflowers Stamp Set and Coordinating Sunflowers Dies.
For this card I have Chosen to use Highland Heather cardstock as the card base for this card, also for the Sunflower itself and the sentiment. The card front is Smoky Slate Embossed using the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder
Firstly I embossed the piece of grey cardstock measuring 14.4cm x 10cm then cut a piece of the Highland Heather Grosgrain Ribbon to fit around it and attached it where I chose using Tear & Tape Adhesive then using the Multi Purpose Liquid Glue I attached the card front to the card base.
To make the sunflower I stamped the large sunflower on the Highland Heather Cardstock using the Highland Heather Stamp Pad then die cut it out, using the outline die in the set. I also cut out a blank sunflower base shape to attach it to. I seperated the petals of the outline die from the outline by placing a piece of Glad Pres 'n Seal onto the Sunflower top and rubbed it on making sure every petal was securely attached then removed the outline piece and glued the Outline die cut onto the plain sunflower base using the glue. Next I cut up small pieces of Stampin' Dimensionals and placed these on every petal, once completed I lined these up with the outline piece and attached these to the base piece of the sunflower. I find this gives a realistic impression of a sunflower with individual petals.
I then decided to attach the very centre piece into the centre of the sunflower using Stampin' Dimensionals. Next I stamped the sentiment which is from the Love What You Do Stamp set. (altho this set is not currently available it can be found on Facebook, or you can use whatever you have and choose.) I die cut out the sentiment using the Tasteful Labels Dies, also attaching this with Dimensionals. On the inside I lined the card with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and using Highland Heather stamped the small sunflower from the stamp set in the bottom left and top right corners at different angles. Leaving plenty of room to write a greeting inside the card.

This card is similar to the above card, for this one I have one of the new In Colors being Polished Pink. I have used Polished Pink Cardstock for the card base. For the card front I have used Melon Mambo Cardstock then using the Painted Texture 3D EMbossing Folder and some Melon Mambo Ink I pressed the ink pad onto the embossing folder gently, highlighting some of the ridges in the folder then after placing the !0cm x 14.4cm piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock into it ran it through my Big Shot transferring the ink onto the card to make the design as seen. I then attached the Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon to the card front using Tear & Tape Adhesive then glued the whole card front to the card base using the Multi Purpose Liquid Glue.
I have stamped 2 Sunflowers using the large stamp in the Stamp set and die cut one out whole and one out with the outline die. This time I have removed the petals in the same way then glued the outline straight on to the other stamped image using Multi purpose Liquid Glue, and not used the petals. I attached the centre of the Sunflower using Stampin' Dimensionals. then attached the whole Sunflower to the card base where I chose to place it. I stamped the sentiment Using the Melon Mambo ink pad onto a piece of Polished Pink Cardstock (the Melon Mambo stood out better than the polished pink for this purpose). The sentiment is from the Grace's Garden Stamp Set. I again used the Tasteful Labels Dies to die cut out the sentiment. I attached this to the card using dimensionals again. The inside of the card is lined with a Basic White piece of cardstock measuring 14.4cm x 10cm and using Polished Pink stamped the small sunflower from the stamp set in the bottom left and top right corners at different angles. Leaving plenty of room to write a greeting inside the card.

Brushed Blooms

These cards are made from the Brushed Blooms bundle from the January to June 2021 Mini Catalogue by Stampin' Up!

With this card I used the Beautiful Brushstrokes Dies from the bundle and Cut out the Brushstroke pieces from a piece of Basic White Cardstock, and collected to pieces that get cut out. I coloured these pieces using Light
Night Of Navy, Granny Apple Green, Magenta Madness, Pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends
.  Afterwards I placed the top layer onto the card base then using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I attached the coloured pieces to the white cardbase through the holes/gaps to make sure that they aligned where I wanted them. I then attached the white die cut piece to the card base using Stampin' Dimensionals, also cut into smaller pieces if/where needed. Once I was happy with all the placement I die cut out the flowers and leaves. For the bottom layer I used Purple Posy, the middle layer is Highland Heather and the top layer is Gorgeous Grape Cardstock for the flowers. I used Garden Green for the bottom layer of the leaves and Mossy Meadow for the top layer of the leaves. Next I  glued them together finally arranging them how I wanted onto the card and attached them with glue or Mini Stampin' Dimensionals in the cut-out places.
The sentiment is a piece of white cardstock 1.75cm x 8cm on top of a piece of Highland Heather Cardstock 2cm x 8cm, both trimmed down and shaped using the Banners Pick a Punch. I stamped the sentiment from the coordinating stamp set.

This card is basically the same as the above however I have used different colours of cardstock for the flowers and leaves, Which demonstrates how easy it is to make a different look on your cards just by changing some colours.
For the bottom layer I used Real Red, the middle layer is Cherry Cobbler and the top layer is  Real Red Cardstock again for the flowers. I used Garden Green for the bottom layer of the leaves and Mossy Meadow for the top layer of the leaves. The Sentiment for this Card is heat embossed using White Stampin' Emboss Powder on Real Red Cardstock measuring 8.52cm x 1.5cm. The sentiment is from the Ornate Thanks Stamp set.

For this card I decided to make a different look and put basically the same roses
onto a Real Red Cardstock. This card has uneven sides to it so when it is closed you can see some of the decoration paper that is on the inside layer to add to/highlight the front design. The paper I used is from the Flowers For Every Season DSP. For the flowers I made them the same as those on the card above however for the leaves I have stamped the design from the Stamp Set onto them and die cut them out. The sentiment on the front is in Basic White Cardstock die cut out using the Stitched Nested Labels and the sentiment is from the Grace's Garden Stamp Set. The inside is lined with Basic White Cardstock and has the edge finished as mentioned earlier.

This card I made completely differently as I chose to use the Brushed Blooms Stamp Set from the Bundle. The Card base is made from Highland Heather Cardstock and on the front I have stamped images of the smaller rose and a triangle of dots all over to make a background using the same colour, Highland Heather Stamp pad. I stamped the Large rose on Purple Posy card stock and die cut it using the coordinating die, the leaves were stamped on Basic White card stock using Garden Green. The Sentiment is from the So Sentimental Stamp set stamped in Gorgeous Grape, and die cut out using Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I decorated the sentiment label with a larger dot decorative stamp from the set then attached it to and the flower to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals, finally decorating the card front with Pastel Pearls. Inside the card I have stamped the small rose and some leaves in the top right hand and bottom left hand corner.

This card is another of my favourite cards (funny they are usually purple).

The base for this card is Gorgeous Grape Cardstock, the lace piece is Highland Heather Cardstock and the image and sentiment are stamped on Purple Posy. The lace piece is die cut using the Stitched Lace Dies, the Stamp Set I have used is Free As A Bird stamp set for the image and sentiment. I have also used the Stitched Nested Dies for the main image, flower and the sentiment. Finishing off the front with gems I have in my collection of embellishments.😆

Artistically Inked

These cards are made using Stampin' Up!'s Artistically Inked Stamp Set and Artistic Dies When making the above cards I first chose...
