Whale Of A Time Suite #2

I have used the Whale Of A Time Suite to make these cards.

Fish Tank Card.
This is my favourite card made from this Suite so far. I've used Granny Apple Green cardstock as the card base and Pool Party as the card front. I have embossed the card front using the Seabed 3D Embossing Folder from the Suite of products, then die cut the tank shape using the Hippo and Friends Dies. I have used a piece of the Designer Series Paper (DSP), then stamped and hand cut out some pieces of seaweed and seahorses with a craft knife, placed these in the scene, put some adhesive on the back of the scene held it behind the card front where I wanted it placed lining it up and stuck it to the card base. I the cut out and stuck a piece of acetate to the back of the card front to give it the fish tank glass appearance and stuck it into place. I attached the turtle I had cut out on the front under the tank and made the sentiment. Stamping it from the Whale Done Stamp set and die cut it using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Finally I placed some of the coordinating sequins on the front of the card to add a little bling. The inside is also lined with a piece of whisper white cardstock and decorated with a stamped turtle and seahorse in diagonally opposite corners.

Making this card I've again used a different piece of DSP, stamped out and hand cut the jelly fish, Turtle, extra seaweed pieces and seahorses. I attached the piece of DSP to the Balmy Blue cardstock then attached the cut out seaweed using some Foam Adhesive Strips then I add the seahorses wrapping their tails around the seaweed so they are holding on to it. After this I attach the jellyfish and the turtle to the card then stamped some bubbles appearing to come from the turtles mouth. I made the sentiment from the So Sentimental Stamp Set and cut it out using a die from the Hippo And Friends Dies attaching it to the card under the turtles arm to add a dimensional effect of the card. Finally decorating it with the coordinating sequins.

This card base is made from Blackberry Bliss cardstock, I have placed a piece of DSP on the front of the card and added a stamped and hand cut Jelly fish on top using dimensionals, and another on to the front cardbase. I made the sentiment using the So Sentimental Stamp Set and die cut it using another die from the Hippo And Friends Dies. I chose a turtle with coordinating colours from the DSP and cut it out placing it under the sentiment. Finally decorating it using the sequins and tying some of the coordinating Pool Party sheer ribbon around the card in a bow, lastly adding some sequins.

The cardbase of this card is Pacific Point, on it I have placed some DSP some hand cut out turtles from another piece of DSP and wrapped around some more of the coordinating ribbon again tying it in a bow. The sentiment is stamped using the So sentimental Stamp Set and Die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The turtles and sentiment are attached to the card using dimensionals. Finally I decorated it using the sequins.

Whale Of A Time #1

Gee it seems that it has been quite some time since I published a BLOG entry, I apologise if anyone has been particularly waiting however I've experienced some difficult times recently. However I've been back making cards and now it's time to update my Blog.😊

This card is made using The Whale of a Time Suite from Stampin' Up!
I have used some of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) for the card front and added stamped images onto it . These are from the Whale Done Stamp Set. I used the coordinating Whale Punch to cut out the Whale and fussy cut the images of the turtle, seahorses, and coral by hand. The little shells are from the Whale Of A Time sequins. I stamped the Sentiment and cut it out using a stitched rectangle die.

This card is also made using the same suite of products. This time I have used a different piece of DSP and added to it stamping the little fish among the seaweed in a variety of places. I also stamped and cut out the other images by hand as above, also the sentiment again cutting it out using a stitched rectangle die from the Ornate Layers Dies set moving the paper along to adjust the size. Finally I used the sequins to add a little shine.

This card is made the same way as the cards above using another piece of DSP and sentiment stamp

I really hope you enjoyed this Blog edition and please share among your friends, if they are interested we can organise an Online party any time that may be convenient.
